Terms of use.

Last updated: November 5, 2026

Spring is provided by Alcyonite. These terms describe the app and its optional subscription, Spring Plus. The license to the app is governed by Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement. Purchases are also subject to the applicable Apple Media Services terms.

Using Spring

Spring is a planner for your own tasks and notes. You keep your rights in what you write and add. Use it in line with applicable law.

Spring Plus

Spring is free on iPhone and iPad. Spring Plus adds the Mac and Apple Watch apps, dates and times in tasks, Find Tasks in Notes, reminders and backgrounds. Find Tasks, dates and times and reminders need a device that supports Apple Intelligence, with it turned on.

Spring Plus is an auto-renewing subscription, monthly or yearly, sold by Apple. The yearly plan includes a 14-day free trial for new subscribers. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when the trial ends or when you subscribe. The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel it in your Apple Account’s subscription settings. Refunds are handled by Apple.

If you cancel

Your tasks and notes stay yours. Spring keeps working on iPhone and iPad. On Mac and Apple Watch you can still read your tasks, but not change them. Tasks stop moving by date, and reminders stop.

Suggestions from Apple Intelligence

Dates, times and Find Tasks suggestions come from Apple’s on-device model and can be wrong. Check anything important. Find Tasks only adds what you tick, and never changes your note.

Your data and iCloud

Your content is stored on your devices and in your private iCloud database, which depends on Apple’s service and your iCloud storage. The privacy policy explains this further. Keep your own copies of anything you can’t afford to lose.

Disclaimer and changes

Spring is provided as is, to the extent the law allows. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law. We may update these terms as Spring changes; the date above shows the latest version. Questions: aditya@alcyonite.com.
